Resumen de La platería doméstica en La Coruña a fines del Antiguo Régimen

El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo el estudio de las piezas de plata labrada atesoradas en los hogares de la elite coruñesa a fines del Antiguo Régimen. En primer lugar, analizaremos las cantidades de plata y su valor económico, atendiendo a las posibilidades y limitaciones que nos ofrecen los inventarios post-mortem. En segundo lugar, estudiaremos la tipología de las piezas de plata, con especial interés en los cambios en la vajilla durante el tránsito del siglo XVIII al XIX. Por último, nos ocuparemos de las marcas de propiedad de dichas piezas.

This paper aims to study the pieces of carved silver treasured in the homes of the Coruña elite at the end of the Ancien Régime. Firstly, we will analyze the amounts of silver and its economic appraisal, considering the possibilities and limitations that probate inventories offer us. Secondly, we will study the typology of silver pieces, with special interest in the changes in tableware during the transition from the 18th to the 19th century. Lastly, we will deal with ownership marks on silver pieces.
