  Servicio en la mar (Luis Suárez de Lezo, 1950), es el único largometraje de ficción de la historia del cine español clasificable dentro del subgénero bélico de guerra submarina. No obstante, su condición de película de corte propagandístico propio del régimen franquista la ha situado en una incómoda posición dentro de la filmografía nacional, relegando el filme al olvido.

  Se trata de una película de la que prácticamente no se encuentran referencias bibliográficas de interés, ni tampoco se tiene constancia de su vinculación a espacios culturales retrospectivos. Por todo ello, este artículo tiene como objetivo visibilizar el filme mediante la exposición de resultados tras un estudio realizado en torno a su producción, el fallido debut en la gran pantalla en el año 1950, y la conexión de la película con el subgénero de guerra submarina.

  Servicio en la mar (Luis Suárez de Lezo, 1950) is the only feature-length fiction film in the history of Spanish cinema that can be classified within the war subgenre of submarine warfare. However, its status as a propaganda film typical of the Franco regime has placed it in an uncomfortable position within the national filmography, relegating the film to oblivion.    It is a film for which there are practically no bibliographical references of interest, nor is there any record of its connection to retrospective cultural spaces. For all these reasons, this article aims to make the film visible by presenting the results of a study carried out on its production, its failed debut on the big screen in 1950, and the film's connection with the subgenre of submarine warfare.

  Service en mer (Luis Suárez de Lezo, 1950) est le seul long métrage de fiction de l'histoire du cinéma espagnol pouvant être classé dans le sous-genre de guerre de la guerre sous-marine. Cependant, son statut de film de propagande typique du régime franquiste l'a placé dans une position inconfortable au sein de la filmographie nationale, reléguant le film dans l'oubli.

  Il s’agit d’un film pour lequel il n’existe pratiquement aucune référence bibliographique intéressante ni aucune preuve de son lien avec des espaces culturels rétrospectifs. Pour toutes ces raisons, cet article vise à rendre visible le film en exposant les résultats après une étude menée sur sa production, les débuts ratés sur grand écran en 1950, et le lien du film avec le sous-genre guerre sous-marine.

  Служба на море (Луис Суарес де Лесо, 1950) — единственный художественный художественный фильм в истории испанского кино, который можно отнести к военному поджанру подводной войны. Однако его статус пропагандистского фильма, типичного для режима Франко, поставил его в неудобное положение в национальной фильмографии, предав фильм забвению.

  Это фильм, для которого практически нет интересных библиографических ссылок, как и нет никаких свидетельств его связи с ретроспективными культурными пространствами. По всем этим причинам данная статья призвана сделать фильм видимым, раскрывая результаты исследования, проведенного при его производстве, неудавшийся дебют на большом экране в 1950 году и связь фильма с военным поджанром.

  Serviço no Mar (Luis Suárez de Lezo, 1950), é o único longa-metragem de ficção da história do cinema espanhol que pode ser classificado no subgênero bélico da guerra submarina. No entanto, o seu estatuto de filme de propaganda típico do regime de Franco colocou-o numa posição desconfortável dentro da filmografia nacional, relegando o filme ao esquecimento.

  Este é um filme para o qual praticamente não existem referências bibliográficas de interesse, nem há qualquer evidência da sua ligação a espaços culturais retrospectivos. Por tudo isto, este artigo pretende dar visibilidade ao filme, expondo os resultados após um estudo realizado sobre a sua produção, a estreia falhada no grande ecrã em 1950, e a ligação do filme com o subgénero da guerra subaquática.
