    Constantino Cavarnós ha completado una vida dedicada a lainvestigación y difusión del helenismo, entendiendo que este término comprende elperíodo antiguo, medieval o bizantino y moderno. Su amplia producción abarca lafilosofía, religión, arte, historia, literatura y lengua griegas, y se ha desarrollado pormedio de libros, artículos, opúsculos, conferencias y reseñas de libros. Su rol comofundador del Instituto de Estudios Bizantinos y Neohelénicos fue vital para dar aconocer la tradición cultural helénica de una manera integral y diacrónica.

    Constantine Cavarnos has completed a life devoted to the researchand diffusion of Hellenism, holding this term to include the ancient, medieval orByzantine, and modern period. His extensive production spans Greek philosophy,religion, art, history, literature and language, and has been carried through books,articles, booklets, lectures, and book reviews. His role as founder of the Institute forByzantine and Modern Greek Studies was vital to make the Hellenic cultural traditionknown in an integral and diachronic manner.
