En este trabajo nos proponemos realizar un recorrido sumario por algunas de las interpretaciones más significativas relativas a la relación entre los conflictos cristológicos de los siglos V y VI y las transformaciones sufridas por el Estado y sociedad en el período tardorromano. Por otra parte, a partir de estas observaciones, intentaremos presentar algunas perspectivas de análisis posibles para estudios futuros.

In this paper we will consider some of the most significant interpretations concerning the relationship between the cristological debates in the fifth an sixth centuries and the transformations undergone by the State and Society within the Late Roman Empire. Moreover, based on these observations, we will try to offer some prospects for analysis for possible future studies.
