Se propone el diseño de una ruta turística de aventura en la parroquia Cañi, provincia de Chimborazo, mediante un estudio aplicativo no experimental usando técnicas de investigación primaria y secundaria. Se identificó e inventarió los atractivos naturales y culturales de la parroquia que resultó en 28 atractivos de jerarquía I y II, de los cuales 53.5% a Atractivos Naturales y 46.5 % a Manifestaciones Culturales. Se seleccionó los atractivos con potencialidad para la práctica de deportes de aventura como cicloturismo, cabalgata, cayoning, parapente y kayak lacustre, éstos fueron evaluados para obtener los grados “de dificultad media y difícil”. A través del estudio de mercado se estableció que existe aceptación de la demanda por realizar actividades de turismo de aventura. El diseño técnico de la ruta propone la oferta de dos paquetes turísticos competitivos y sostenibles; además, se definió estrategias para la promoción y comercialización del producto a través del marketing mix; la figura legal administrativa que se determinó para la operación del producto fue una Asociación bajo el amparo de la Ley de Economía Popular y Solidaria. A nivel ambiental, se aplicó la metodología de la matriz de Lázaro Lagos determinando los posibles impactos del proyecto, para los impactos negativos se elaboró el plan de manejo ambiental. La implementación del producto resultó económica y financieramente rentable dado que alcanza una tasa interna de retorno (TIR) del 43%, un valor actual neto (VAN) de $246.092, 66, la relación beneficio costo (RBC) es $2,57 y el periodo de recuperación del capital (PRC) se proyecta hacia el segundo y parte del tercer año.

The design of an adventure tourist route in the Cañi parish, Chimborazo province, is proposed through a non-experimental applicative study using primary and secondary research techniques.
The natural and cultural attractions of the parish were identified and inventoried, which resulted in 28 attractions of hierarchy I and II, of which 53.5% to Natural Attractions and 46.5% to Cultural Manifestations. The attractions with potential for the practice of adventure sports such as cycling, horseback riding, cayoning, paragliding and lake kayaking were selected; these were evaluated to obtain the degrees of “medium and difficult difficulty”. Through the market study it was established that there is acceptance of the demand for adventure tourism activities. The technical design of the route proposes the offer of two competitive and sustainable tourist packages; In addition, strategies were defined for the promotion and commercialization of the product through the marketing mix; The administrative legal figure that was determined for the operation of the product was an Association under the protection of the Law of Popular and Solidarity Economy. At an environmental level, the methodology of the Lázaro Lagos matrix was applied, determining the possible impacts of the project; for negative impacts, the environmental management plan was drawn up. The implementation of the product was economically and financially profitable given that it achieves an internal rate of return (IRR) of 43%, a net present value (NPV) of $ 246,092.66, the cost benefit ratio (RBC) is $ 2.57 and the period Recovery of capital (PRC) is projected into the second and part of the third year
