    Exposición de los diccionarios bilingües actuales de seis lenguas americanas con el español: náhuatl, quiché, aimara, mapudungun y guaraní. Aunque la noticia de estas diferentes lexicografías es por sus circunstancias poco homogénea, todos los textos responden a un esquema común: presentación general de la lexicografía bilingüe español-lengua originaria y lengua originaria-español; breve mención al recorrido histórico de esa lexicografía; distancia lingüística entre las dos lenguas, por tipología de las dos lenguas, lo que señala el grado de dificultad que requiere la elaboración de diccionarios bilingües; utilidad social que puede representar estos diccionarios en cuanto al cultivo de las dos lenguas, y acogida que se les dispensa entre la población.

    Presentation of six current bilingual dictionaries of Spanish and languages of the Americas: Nahuatl, K’iche’, Quechua, Aymara, Mapudungun, and Guarani. Although the news of these lexicographical works is, due to their circumstances, far from homogeneous, all texts follow the same structure: they provide a general introduction of the bilingual lexicography Spanish-native language and native language-Spanish, a brief mention of its history, and a description of the linguistic distance between both languages based on their typology, which points to the complexity that creating bilingual dictionaries entails. They also mention the social use that these dictionaries represent for the development of both languages, and the welcome they receive from the public.
