  Locus in Urbia es un colectivo interdisciplinario de artistas e investigadores que tiene por objeto la creación e intervenciones estéticas configurando materiales de naturaleza política. El eje de reflexión es el concepto de representación. y una posible contradicción del mismo. De un lado, no habría nada que no esté siempre siendo presentado, en tanto la repetición implica siempre a la producción de diferencias (Deleuze, 2002). Del otro lado, no habría nada que no sea siempre representado, dado que siempre se está frente a signos de los cuales no puede determinarse un origen (Derrida, 1994). En esta dirección, se parte de materiales de archivo para componer intervenciones donde la huella pierda su carácter memorial y sedimentado y, al mismo tiempo, se abre el campo de interpretaciones entregando una obra que invite a pensar los límites y los saberes que se trazan entre lo político y lo estético (Sterne, 2012; Goodman, 2010).

  Locus in Urbia is an interdisciplinary collective of artists and researchers that aims to create and exploit aesthetics by configuring materials of a political nature. The axis of reflection is the concept of re-presentation. and a possible contradiction of the same. On the one hand, there would be nothing that is not always being presented, since repetition always implies the production of differences (Deleuze, 2002). On the other hand, there will be nothing that is not always represented, since one is always facing signs whose origin cannot be determined (Derrida, 1994). In this direction, it is based on archival materials to compose an intervention where the trace loses its memorial and sedimented character and, at the same time, opens the field of interpretations, delivering a work that invites us to think about the limits and knowledge that are traced between the political and the aesthetic (Sterne, 2012; Goodman, 2010).
