  • Resumen
    • During the present study, three species of brachyuran crabs Parasesarma persicum Naderloo and Schubart 2010, Episesarma versicolor Tweedie 1940 belonging to Sesarmidae family and Gelasimus hesparie (Crane 1975) of Ocypodidae family were recorded for the first time from Maharashtra state, India. The species were collected during a survey (2019–2020) conducted at the Dharamatar estuary of Maharashtra (India). These records indicate that these species have extended their distribution to the Maharashtra coast of India. The details of morphological characters and distribution patterns of the three brachyuran crabs are given in the report.
