La educación emocional: una alternativa educativa impostergable tras el retorno a la presencialidad

    El artículo profundiza en el análisis de la educación emocional como una alternativa educativa para enfrentar los resultados desalentadores que, en términos de desarrollo integral, evidencia la población infantil en el contexto postpandemia. El objetivo general es fundamentar una aproximación inicial a la visión holística y globalizada de la educación emocional como una alternativa educativa impostergable tras el retorno a la presencialidad. Para ello, se parte de la descripción de las dimensiones del desarrollo infantil que se vieron afectadas como consecuencia del cierre de las escuelas durante la pandemia. Luego, ante las limitaciones de la educación tradicional para enfrentar estos efectos, se sustenta la educación emocional como alternativa, valorando sus retos históricos y actuales. Se finaliza, aportando los fundamentos pedagógicos y psicológicos de una visión holística y globalizada de la educación emocional postpandemia.

    The article delves into the analysis of emotional education as an educational alternative to face the discouraging results that, in terms of comprehensive development, are evident in the child population in the post-pandemic context. The general objective is to establish an initial approach to the holistic and globalized vision of emotional education as an educational alternative that cannot postponed after returning to face-to-face teaching. To do this, we start by describing the dimensions of child development that were affected as a result of the closure of schools during the pandemic. Then, given the limitations of traditional education to face these effects, emotional education is supported as an alternative, assessing its historical and current challenges. It ends by providing the pedagogical and psychological foundations of a holistic and globalized vision of post-pandemic emotional education.
