Resumen de La Celestina y el cómic: adaptación entre descentramiento y anexión de una heroína en movimiento

El propósito de este artículo consiste en aplicar herramientas y conceptos inicialmente previstos para el estudio de la traducción a dos adaptaciones de La Celestina al cómic (la primera de Víctor Palmerín y la segunda de Rémy Bastien). Si bien ambas adaptaciones son, en apariencia, muy distintas la una de la otra, y bien distantes del original, este trabajo pretende demostrar que los procesos de adaptación, legibles superficialmente como manifestaciones de una práctica de la anexión, esconden en realidad un trabajo en las profundidades del texto original. Reflexionando sobre la cuestión del movimiento, nuestro estudio desea demostrar que el análisis de la adaptación —a modo de traducción— invita al descentramiento del lector al poner de realce las estructuras profundas de la poética del texto original y transmiten una versión esencialista del texto de Rojas, su sentido profundo que adviene gracias a los procesos de rescritura.

The purpose of this article is to apply tools and concepts initially envisaged for the study of translation to two comic adaptations of La Celestina (one by Víctor Palmerín and the other by Rémy Bastien). Although both adaptations are, on the surface, very different from each other, and quite distant from the original, this work aims to demonstrate that the processes of adaptation, superficially readable as manifestations of a practice of annexation, actually conceal a work in the depths of the original text. Reflecting on the question of movement, our study wishes to demonstrate that the analysis of adaptation —in the manner of translation— invites the reader to decentre by highlighting the deep structures of the poetics of the original text and conveys an essentialist version of Rojas' text, its deep meaning coming through the processes of rewriting.
