    El afrofeminismo es esencial para comprender las discriminaciones y violencias sexuales que enfrentan las mujeres afrodescendientes. Considera las intersecciones de género, raza y clase social en estas experiencias. El racismo y la hipersexualización afectan a estas mujeres desde temprana edad, normalizando la violencia sexual en sus vidas. Es crucial reconocer sus experiencias y brindarles apoyo. Hablar sobre estas vivencias es un paso fundamental hacia la sanación y la ruptura del silencio y estigma que rodea la violencia sexual. Se debe abogar por un sistema de apoyo sensible a sus realidades únicas y al impacto del racismo. La lucha contra el racismo implica no ser solo “no racista”, sino ser un aliado antirracista. La literatura escrita por autores afrodescendientes en España ofrece perspectivas enriquecedoras sobre estas experiencias. Convertirse en una aliada/o antirracista implica escuchar activamente, rechazar el racismo, apoyar a las voces racializadas y educarse sobre el racismo o políticas inclusivas.

    Afrofeminism is essential for understanding the discrimination and sexual violence faced by Afro-descendant women. It considers the intersections of gender, race, and social class in these experiences. Racism and hypersexualization afect these women from an early age, normalizing sexual violence in their lives. It is crucial to recognize their experiences and provide support. Speaking about these experiences is a fundamental step towards healing and breaking the silence and stigma surrounding sexual violence. Advocacy for a support system sensitive to their unique realities and the impact of racism is necessary. The fght against racism involves not just being “not racist” but being an antiracism ally. Literature by afrodescendant authors in Spain ofer enriching perspectives on these experiences. Becoming an antiracism ally involves active listening, rejecting racism, supporting racialized voices, and educating ourselves about racism or inclusive policies.
