It is becoming more prevalent in evaluating the effects of fleet and harbor operations on the ecosystem of Saudi Arabia. This piece will delve into the EIM and its applicability in quantifying the environmental consequences of fleet and dock operations in Saudi Arabia, including the model equations, current data collections, and scientific resources that validate its usage. Recent data collections show the substantial environmental impact of maritime operations in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the urgency for successful measures to mitigate these effects.
