Resumen de Séptimo Foro Ibérico de Museología. Analizando la museología ibérica desde la sostenibilidad, la educación y la inclusión

  En el contexto museológico actual en el que nos encontramos como países ibéricos, el VII Foro Ibérico de Estudios Museológicos, celebrado en 2023 en Ciudad Real, se ha centrado en líneas temáticas de un marcado carácter social siguiendo la estela de los debates más actuales. La nueva definición de museo, la crisis sanitaria y la urgencia de sostenibilidad de las instituciones museales, la relevancia de la educación y la inclusión social, como motor de cambio en el museo del siglo XXI, son los principales temas tratados en estas jornadas de expertos. Partiendo de las reflexiones esbozadas durante las mesas de debate, de las distintas sesiones temáticas que han compuesto este encuentro, se han planteado unas conclusiones que justifican la necesidad de continuar investigando la museología ibérica en estos términos.

  In the current museological context in which we find ourselves as Iberian countries, the VII Iberian Forum of Museum Studies, held in 2023 in Ciudad Real, has focused on thematic lines of a markedly social nature in the wake of the most current debates. The new definition of the museum, the health crisis and the urgent need for sustainability of museum institutions, the relevance of education and social inclusion as a driving force for change in the museum of the 21st century were the main topics discussed at these expert conferences. Based on the reflections sketched out during the round tables and the different thematic sessions that made up this meeting, conclusions were drawn that justify the need to continue researching Iberian museology in these terms.
