Resumen de Análisis del juego «escoba del uno» para el estudio de fracciones en primer año de enseñanza media

Esta investigación tuvo como propósito analizar la «escoba del uno»: un juego que puede ser utilizado para trabajar el concepto fracción como parte de un todo, la equivalencia entre fracciones y el orden de fracciones unitarias. El dispositivo didáctico utilizado se dividió en tres etapas. La primera consistió en indagar los conocimientos sobre fracciones que traían de la escuela primaria los participantes, a través de un diagnóstico. En la segunda se implementó el juego en un grupo de estudiantes y, en la tercera, se aplicó un segundo diagnóstico a los estudiantes seleccionados, evaluando los mismos conceptos que en el primer diagnóstico, con la finalidad de comparar el impacto que tuvo la utilización del juego en el aprendizaje de esos estudiantes.

The purpose of this research was to analyze the «broom of one»: a game that can be used to teach the concept of fraction as a part of a whole, the equivalence between fractions and the order of unit fractions.The didactic device was divided in three stages. The first consisted of inquiring the knowledge about fractionsthat participants brought from primary school, through a diagnosis test. In the second, the game wasimplemented in a group of students, and in the third, a second diagnosis test was applied to the participants,evaluating the same concepts as in the first one, in order to compare the impact that the use of the game had in the learning of those students.
