Este trabajo analiza los rasgos distintivos de la inmigración de sacerdotes franceses hacia tierras catalanas entre mediados del siglo XVI y principios del XVII. Así, se estudia su distribución por el territorio, las zonas y obispados de origen, los motivos de su partida, el papel ejercido por estos párrocos a la hora de favorecer el desplazamiento de sus feligreses, su contribución al arraigo de compatriotas y familiares en la comunidad de acogida y su influencia en la creación de cofradías de franceses .

This paper analyses the distinctive features of the immigration of French priests to Catalan lands between the mid-16th and early 17th centuries. The study examines their distribution throughout the territory, their areas and dioceses of origin, the reasons for their departure, the role played by these parish priests in facilitating the displacement of their parishioners, their contribution to the settlement of compatriots and relatives in the host community, and their influence in the creation of brotherhoods of French immigrants.
