  • Resumen
    • In recent years, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a dramatic impact on teaching practices, resulting in prolonged interruptions of face-to-face teaching–learning activities worldwide. During this period, a key concern for physics instructors has been maintaining experimental work in their teaching. They have faced the challenge of adapting laboratory activities for distance learning.1–14 Therefore, our research group designed a home experiment kit provided to students to perform experiments at home. In this paper, we discuss one of these experiments aimed at explaining the phenomenon of a glue stick that appears white near a light source and turns to orange toward the opposite side.
