El presente artículo muestra la relación de las competencias del área de Persona Familia y Relaciones Humanas y el desarrollo de los adolescentes.
El objetivo general fue precisar la relación del desarrollo humano con las competencias del área de PFRH y realizar un análisis que sustente la investigación y contribuya con la formación de los estudiantes del 3ero y 4to de secundaria de la IEP “Bella Unión” del Callao.
La población estuvo conformada por 140 estudiantes, la investigación es básica de nivel descriptivo correlacional, el diseño experimental transversal.
Los resultados muestran que existe una relación significativa entre las competencias del área y el desarrollo de los estudiantes.

This article shows the relationship of the competences of the Person, Family and Human Relations area and the development of adolescents.
The general objective was to specify the relationship of human development with the competences of the PFRH area and to carry out an analysis that supports the research and contributes to the training of the 3rd and 4th year high school students of the IEP “Bella Unión” of Callao.
The population consisted of 140 students, the research is basic at a correlational descriptive level, the cross-sectional experimental design.
The results show that there is a significant relationship between the competences of the area and the development of the students.
