Resumen de La producción historiográfica villarrealina: tiempos, espacios y temáticas abordadas

Se realiza un análisis de 186 tesis y trabajos de investigación sustentados para optar la Licenciatura en Historia, en la Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal, entre 1988 y 2020, con el propósito de precisar preferencias por periodos, espacios y temáticas históricas abordadas. Como estos ejemplares no se conservaron en los archivos respectivos, se realizó una búsqueda personal con autores, asesores y jurados, logrando restituir el corpus total de los 186 trabajos. Para el análisis se elaboraron hojas de catalogación, hojas de seguimiento y matrices de análisis. Se encontró que la preferencia es altamente favorable al periodo republicano con el 66.64%, el periodo virreinal representa el 30.60% y ningún trabajo para el periodo prehispánico. Respecto del espacio histórico la preferencia es altamente favorable a la provincia de Lima con 49.46%, otras 30 provincias hacen en conjunto 16.12%. La preferencia por temática histórica la tiene la historia social con 40.32%, le sigue la historia cultural con el 24.19%, la historia política con 20.04%, la historia económica con 9.14% y la archivística con 4.30%. Se concluye que la historiografía villarrealina es preferentemente republicanista centrada en el siglo XX, con poco interés por el periodo virreinal y nulo interés por el periodo prehispánico; es limeñista y con escaso interés por otras provincias como Cuzco, Chancay, Huamanga, Huarochirí, Huancavelica y Huánuco, otras ocho provincias cuentan con un trabajo para cada una, y el resto del país, principalmente la Amazonia es ignorado.

An analysis of 186 theses and research papers supported to opt for the Bachelor of History, at the Federico Villarreal National University, between 1988 and 2020, is carried out with the purpose of specifying preferences for periods, spaces and historical themes addressed. As these copies were not preserved in the respective archives, a personal search was carried out with authors, advisers and juries, managing to restore the total corpus of the 186 works. For the analysis, cataloging sheets, follow-up sheets and analysis matrices were prepared. It was found that the preference is highly favorable to the republican period with 66.64%, the viceregal period represents 30.60% and no work for the pre-Hispanic period. Regarding the historical space, the preference is highly favorable to the province of Lima with 49.46%, another 30 provinces together make 16.12%. The preference for historical theme is social history with 40.32%, followed by cultural history with 24.19%, political history with 20.04%, economic history with 9.14% and archival history with 4.30%. It is concluded that Villarreal's historiography is preferably republicanist focused on the 20th century, with little interest in the viceregal period and no interest in the pre-Hispanic period; He is from Lima and with little interest in other provinces such as Cuzco, Chancay, Huamanga, Huarochirí, Huancavelica and Huánuco, eight other provinces have a job for each one, and the rest of the country, mainly the Amazon, is ignored.
