Evaluación de los recursos turísticos para el desarrollo del turismo comunitario en Manabí

    La investigación se realizó con el objetivo de evaluar los recursos turísticos para aportar al desarrollo del turismo comunitario en la región norte de Manabí post terremoto 2016. Se planteó una propuesta dirigida al aprovechamiento de recursos naturales, identificando antecedentes propios de cada lugar, tomando como referencia la metodología de Reyes. En base a ello, se estructuró un procedimiento metodológico de cuatro fases: primero, un diagnóstico general de los daños provocados por el terremoto en los cantones: Pedernales, Jama, San Vicente y Bahía, identificando a Pedernales como el más afectado. Luego se realizó un estudio de mercado, identificando que del 100% un 49.3% de turistas prefieren destinos naturales, los cuales son un potencial del territorio. Como tercera fase se evaluaron los recursos mediante fichas de recolección de datos, las cuales dieron como resultado que las afectaciones en facilidades turísticas ascendieron a un monto de $179.920,00. Y como cuarta fase, se realizó un análisis (FODA), evaluando características positivas y negativas que aporten al aprovechamiento y conservación de las potencialidades turísticas; además se establecieron acciones en los atractivos como reparaciones de establecimientos, diseños de productos, conservación de flora y fauna, y otras propuestas que contribuyen al desarrollo del turismo comunitario.

    The research was carried out with the objective of evaluating the tourism resources to contribute to the development of community tourism in the northern region of Manabí after the 2016 earthquake. A proposal aimed at the use of natural resources was designed, where the antecedents of each place were outlined as established in the methodology by Reyes (2015). Based on this, a four-phase methodological procedure was structured: first, it was developed a general diagnosis of the damage caused by the earthquake in the cantons: Pedernales, Jama, San Vicente and Bahía, which revealed that Pedernales was the most affected canton. Then, a market study was carried out, which showed that out of 100%, 49.3% of tourists prefer natural destinations, which are a potential of the territory. As a third phase, the resources were evaluated through data collection sheets, which resulted in the damage to tourist facilities amounting to $ 179,920.00. And as a fourth phase, an analysis (SWOT) was carried out, evaluating positive and negative characteristics that contribute to the use and conservation of tourism potential; In addition, actions were established in the attractions such as repairs of establishments, product designs, conservation of flora and fauna, and other proposals that contribute to the development of community tourism.
