Resumen de La mistagogia en San Ambrosio y San Agustín. Dos formas de iniciación cristiana en los siglos IV y V

El artículo hace la presentación de la teología catecumenal de san Ambrosio y de san Agustín, destacando en el primero, cuatro elementos propios del itinerario bautismal de Milán como eran de carácter agonístico de la preparación bautismal, la catequesis bíblica relacionada con los personajes bíblicos del Antiguo Testamento, las virtudes y el rito de Effetá. En tercer lugar se pone de manifiesto la importancia de la Traditio Symboli en Milán con la teología que la acompaña, y finalmente el silencio que san Ambrosio guardaba sobre los ritos de la iniciación cristiana suscitando la curiosidad. Posteriormente se destaca la teología de dos ritos prpios de la vigilia pascual, el lavatorio de los pies y la unción post-bautismal con el myrum. En la segunda parte del artículo se hace la presentación de la teología agustiniana sobre el catecumenado, destacando tres elementos del proceso catecumenal como eran los ayunos y otras prácticas ascética, la traditio symboli y en tercer lugar la traditio orationis. Sobre los ritos post.bautismales el artículo hace énfasis en la catequesis eucarística del domingo de Pascua con sus características y la procesión final hecha a una memoria martyrum como una vinculación a una iglesia de tradición martirial.

The article presents the cathechumenal theology of St. Ambrose and St. Augustine, highlighting in the former, four elements proper to the baptismal itinerary of Milan, such as the agonistic character of the baptismal preparation, the biblical catechesis related to the biblicas characters of the Old Testament, the virtues and the rite of the Effetá. Thirdly, the importance of theTraditio Symboli in Milan with its theology in highlighted, and finally the secret that St. Ambrose kept on the rites of Christian initiation , in order to arise curiosity in those who were going to receive them. Subsequently, the theology of two rites beloging to the easter Vigil, namely, the washing of the feet and the post-baptismal anointin with myrum,, is discussed. The secod part of the article, presents the Augustinian theology of the catechumenate, stressing three elements of the catechumenal process, namely, the fasting and other ascetic practices, the traditio symboli and the traditio orationis.
