El artículo presenta en primer lugar, las enarrationes en las que san Agustín comenta la parábola del fariseo y del publicano que subieron al Templo a orar (Lc18, 9-14). Se destacan la cronología y escenario de cada una de las enarrationes. Posteriormente, siguiendo un orden cronológico, se ponen de manifiesto las principales ideas que son acentuadas por el Hiponate en su comentario a la parábola anteriormente mencionada, distinguiendo entre las enarrationes predicadas antes de la polémica pelagiana, y las predicadas dentro de la misma. Finalmente el artículo hace una lectura de conjunto, para poder ver con mayor claridad las ideas y los matices que san Agustín pone de manifiesto en dicha parábola dentro de las enarrationes in Psalmos, poniendo particular atención en las ideas antipelagianas, así como en los textos bíblicos que san Agustín destaca en su comentario a la parábola del fariseo y del publicano.

The article presents the enarrationes in which St Augustine comments on the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector who went up to the Temple to pray (Lk 18: 9-14). The chronology and setting of each of the enarrationes where the parable is commented are highlighted. Subsequently, following a chronological order, the main ideas that are emphasised by the Bishop of Hippo in his commentary on te above-mentioned parable are highlighted, distinguishing between the enarrationes preached before the Pelagian controversy, and those preached within it. Finally, the article makes a reading of the whole, in order to see more clearly the ideas and nuances that Augustine highlights in this parable within the enarrationes in Psalmos, paying particular attention to the anti-Pelagian ideas and the Biblica Texts that Augustine underlines in his commentary on the parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector.
