Resumen de Conflitos existenciais da fronteira no romance Elpídio Petra, de Wanderson Ligier de Jesus

There are literatures that appear in specific regions and that evoke the border theme in their script. This is the case of the novel Elpídio Petra (2021) by Corumbá writer Wanderson Ligier de Jesus, which takes a look at the border between Brazil and Bolivia (Bras/Bol border), a place where different realities clash, shot through with existential questions of subjects transiting, engulfing themselves and building the social reality in this specific space. The main objective is to understand how literature registers the abstract and concrete dimensions that hover in the border atmosphere and configure the existential spatiality of the characters. The analytical procedures proposed here suggest the hermeneutic method to interpret the literature, in this way the theory of reception encourages the geographer reader to focus on the particularized dimensions of the text to decode the spatial context. In the specific case of the novel, the results obtained through the analysis demonstrate that literature suggests a place marked by being a space crossed by interrelationships that result in a multiplicity of events that shape the identities of the subjects.

Há literaturas que surgem em regiões específicas e evocam em seu script o tema da fronteira. É o caso do romance Elpídio Petra (2021), do escritor Wanderson Ligier de Jesus, que lança um olhar para a fronteira entre o Brasil e a Bolívia (Fronteira Bras/Bol), um lugar de choque de realidades distintas, metralhado de questões existenciais envolvendo sujeitos que transitam, ancoram e constroem a realidade social nesse espaço específico. O objetivo principal, da pesquisa é perceber como a literatura registra dimensões subjetivas e concretas que pairam na atmosfera fronteiriça e configuram a espacialidade existencial das personagens. Os procedimentos analíticos propostos aqui sugerem o método hermenêutico para interpretar a literatura; dessa forma a teoria da recepção incita o leitor geógrafo a focar nas dimensões particularizadas do texto para decodificar o contexto espacial. Relativamente ao romance, os resultados obtidos, por meio de diálogo geográfico, demonstram que a literatura sugere um lugar marcado por ser um espaço atravessado de conflitos que conduzem a uma multiplicidade de acontecimentos moldando as identidades dos sujeitos.
