    El objetivo de este artículo de reflexión es explorar el papel de la contabilidad y la auditoría en la promoción de prácticas financieras sostenibles y su alineación con los Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible. El artículo busca analizar la importancia de la contabilidad y la auditoría sostenibles, así como las herramientas y técnicas disponibles para su aplicación. También se destacará el papel de los profesionales contables y auditores en la promoción de la sostenibilidad y cómo pueden contribuir a avanzar hacia un desarrollo sostenible. En resumen, el objetivo es crear conciencia sobre la importancia de la contabilidad y la auditoría sostenibles en la consecución de los ODS y su papel fundamental en la toma de decisiones financieras sostenibles.

    The objective of this thought piece is to explore the role of accounting and auditing in promoting sustainable financial practices and their alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals. The article seeks to analyze the importance of sustainable accounting and auditing, as well as the tools and techniques available for their application. It will also highlight the role of accounting and auditing professionals in promoting sustainability and how they can contribute to moving towards sustainable development. In summary, the objective is to raise awareness of the importance of sustainable accounting and auditing in achieving the SDGs and its key role in sustainable financial decision making.
