    Objetivo. Demostrar la relación entre la planeación estratégica institucional y la toma de decisiones de los funcionarios en la Municipalidad Provincial de Huánuco (MPHCO), en el 2019.  Métodos. Se empleó un enfoque cuantitativo con un diseño no experimental. Se aplicó una encuesta como instrumento para recopilar información, utilizando la técnica de encuesta de opinión para captar la percepción de las variables de estudio entre los funcionarios de la MPHCO. Resultados. Se obtuvo un valor correlacional de 0,223 mediante el método estadístico de Spearman. Este resultado evidencia una correlación positiva de nivel bajo entre las variables de la investigación: planeación estratégica institucional y toma de decisiones de los funcionarios en la Municipalidad Provincial de Huánuco, en 2019. La aceptación de la hipótesis general y el rechazo de la hipótesis nula respaldan la relación identificada. Conclusión. La investigación confirma la existencia de una correlación positiva entre la planeación estratégica institucional y la toma de decisiones de los funcionarios en la Municipalidad Provincial de Huánuco en el año 2019. Estos hallazgos respaldan la importancia de una planificación estratégica efectiva en la toma de decisiones gubernamentales a nivel local.

    Objective. Demonstrate the relationship between the planeation strategic institutional and the making-decisions of the officials in the Provincial Municipality of Huánuco (MPHCO), in the 2019. Methods. A quantitative approach with a non-experimental design was employed. It applied a survey as instrument to collect information using the  technique of survey of opinion to capture the perception of the study variables between the officials of the MPHCO. Results. It's obtained a value correlational of 0,223 using Spearman's statistical method. This result evidence a correlation positive of level low between the variables of the research: planeation strategic institutional and making-decisions of the officials in the Provincial Municipality of Huánuco, in 2019. The acceptance of the general hypothesis and the rejection of the null hypothesis support the identified relationship. Conclusion. The research confirm the existence of a correlation positive between planeation strategic institutional and the making-decisions of the officials in the Provincial Municipality of Huánuco in the year 2019. These findings support the importance of a planification strategic effective in the making-decisions governmental at the local level.
