¿Un match, una posible pareja? La influencia de la aplicación Tinder en la conformación de vínculos erótico- afectivos en parejas heterosexuales

    Las nuevas formas de interacción social representan una transformación respecto a los espacios tradicionales en donde surgían las parejas y a los protocolos para establecer vínculos erótico-afectivos. Los espacios virtuales son una exaltación de los aspectos superficiales, convirtiendo estos en un mercado de capital erótico, en donde, se construye una corporalidad atrayente mediante atributos físicos, prácticas eróticas y exposición de aspectos que se consideren atractivos. Tinder, es una aplicación que posibilita el encuentro entre distintas personas, por lo que puede emplearse de distintas maneras y para distintos fines, gracias a la variedad de herramientas en su interfaz. Es claro, que su algoritmo permite el encontrar personas que signifiquen una posible pareja o que simplemente cumplan con los estándares establecidos por el dueño o la dueña del perfil. Sin embargo, para esta investigación nos centramos en el empleo de esta aplicación para la construcción de vínculos erótico-afectivos. Esta investigación nace frente a la necesidad de indagar y explicar las nuevas formas en que los individuos establecen las relaciones erótico-afectivas, las cuales han surgido a raíz del incremento en la creación de aplicaciones y páginas de internet que presentan a la sociedad una amplia posibilidad de conocer personas y conformar vínculos eróticos y/o afectivos, a los que, el sociólogo Zygmunt Bauman se refiere como líquidos, dado su carácter transitorio y volátil, donde no se logra concretar una unión fuerte.

    New ways of social interaction imply a transformation of the traditional spaces where couples were formed and the protocols involved in establishing an affective sexual relationship. Online platforms are an exaltation of superficial traits that are easily converted into markets of erotic capital, where an appealing corporality is built through physical attributes, erotic practices and the exhibition of traits considered attractive. Tinder, is an app that allows the arrangement of meetings between a variety of individuals, such app can be used in different ways and to reach different purposes thanks to the variety of tools found in it’s interface. I’s clear that it ́s algorithm enables it with the capacity to find people that are a potential partner or that simply fulfill the standards established by the owner of the profile. However, for this research we were centered on the use of this app for the settlement of sexual affective relationships. This research is born against the need of investigate and explain the new ways that individuals use to form sexual affective relationships, and which have surfaced thanks to the increase of the creation of apps and websites that present to society an extensive possibility to meet people and build sexual affective relationships, to which the sociologist Zygmunt Bauman refers to as liquid, given it ́s transitional and volatile nature that doesn’t allow the individuals to achieve a strong union.
