The digital divide in Latin America and the Caribbean, marked by inequalities in access and technological skills, negatively impacts social and economic development. The article highlights the importance of Internet access and proposes policies and international cooperation, such as the EU’s Global Gateway initiative, to promote investment in digital infrastructure and technology education.
