  RESUMEN El problema de la energía y el ahorro energético se convierte hoy en un problema muy importante a tener en cuenta en el mundo. Las fuentes de energía son finitas, su correcta utilización se presenta como una necesidad del presente para que podamos disfrutar de ellas en un futuro. Practicar un empleo responsable e inteligente de la energía que consumimos es tarea de todos. En el presente artículo se expone el papel que el consumo más responsable e inteligente de la energía que consumimos es tarea de todos. Por todas estas razones hoy se hace indispensable el ahorro energético y la eficiencia energética. En el presente artículo se expone el papel que el mantenimiento puede y debe jugar en estos aspectos, lo cual motiva esta investigación. Se exponen detalladamente el papel que juega la auditoría energética, así como la metodología para analizar la eficiencia energética en los activos industriales.

  ABSTRACT The problem of energy and energy saving, today becomes a very important problem to take into account in the world. The sources of energy are finite, and therefore, its correct use is presented as a necessity of the present, so that we can enjoy them in the future. To practice a responsible and intelligent consumption of the energy we consume is everyone's job. For all these reasons, today, energy saving and energy efficiency are indispensable. In this article it is exposed the role that maintenance can and should play in these aspects, wich becomes the reason for this investigation. It is exposed in detail the role of energetic auditory to analize energy consumption and also the methodology to evaluate the energetic efficiency on the industrial equipment’s.
