Resumen de Versos imperfectos y desapercibidos en las inscripciones medievales de Asturias

En este trabajo se ha intentado ampliar el número de inscripciones latinas medievales de Asturias (España) que se pueden considerar poéticas, y que se habían excluido hasta ahora del catálogo conocido, no solo porque los textos se habían grabado sin marcar su condición versificada, sino también porque la mayoría incumple parcialmente las normas de la métrica clásica, o porque se basan en recursos poéticos ajenos a ella. El tipo de verso cuantitativo empleado más frecuentemente es el hexámetro, incluso con rima interna. Cuando se prescindía de la cantidad silábica, se compusieron más a menudo dísticos isosilábicos con ritmo acentual y rima final que la versión rítmica del hexámetro.

This paper aims to increase the number of medieval Latin inscriptions from Asturias (Spain) that can be considered poetic. These had been excluded from the known catalogue until now, not only because the texts had been engraved without indicating their versified condition, but also because most of them partially fail to meet the rules of classical metrics, or because they are based on poetic resources outside classical metrics. The most used type of quantitative verse was the hexameter, even with internal rhyme. When syllabic quantity was not applied, isosyllabic couplets with accentual rhythm and final rhyme were more of-ten employed than the rhythmic version of the hexameter.
