Resumen de La diversidad intercultural e indígena: un desafío para el docente

  Esta investigación se propuso examinar y reflexionar sobre la educación intercultural desde la perspectiva de los educadores. Hasta ahora, gran parte del discurso que guía la idea de una escuela intercultural se ha centrado en fomentar una convivencia respetuosa, pero se ha descuidado enfatizar cómo se debería abordar la enseñanza en aulas con estudiantes de diferentes culturas, contextos y niveles socioeconómicos. Por tanto, es esencial reconocer y comprender la verdadera diversidad intercultural, reconsiderándola desde una perspectiva pedagógica, reconociendo que la educación en contextos multiculturales requiere que los docentes rompan con lo que hasta ahora se ha considerado normal y normativo, y que enfrenten el desafío de cuestionar las estructuras que han configurado su concepción y conocimientos pedagógicos-profesionales desde su formación inicial. Se concluye que es necesario hacer una praxis profunda, reconociendo que México no es un país homogéneo, sino una tierra que entrelaza diversas cosmovisiones, lenguas y culturas en constante cambio y resistencia social.

  This research aimed to examine and reflect on intercultural education from the perspective of educators.

  Until now, much of the discourse that guides the idea of an intercultural school has focused on fostering respectful coexistence, but it has neglected to emphasize how teaching in classrooms with students from different cultures, contexts, and socioeconomic levels should be approached. Therefore, it is essential to recognize and understand true intercultural diversity, reconsidering it from a pedagogical perspective, recognizing that education in multicultural contexts requires teachers to break with what until now has been considered normal and normative, and to face the challenge of questioning the structures that have shaped their conception and pedagogical-professional knowledge since their initial training. It is concluded that it is necessary to carry out a deep praxis, recognizing that Mexico is not a homogeneous country, but a land that intertwines diverse worldviews, languages and cultures in constant change and social resistance.
