    El ejercicio de las funciones administrativas del patrimonio cultural inmaterial en el ordenamiento jurídico italiano se manifiesta a varios niveles. A las disposiciones del código, que sitúa en el centro el patrimonio cultural en su tangibilidad, se añaden instrumentos «extracódigo» derivados de normativas supranacionales. Este criterio, originado por la dificultad de encuadrar jurídicamente la noción de bienes culturales inmateriales, ha llevado durante mucho tiempo a centrarse más en los bienes culturales materiales. Sin embargo, en los últimos tiempos, debido también a los acontecimientos de emergencia que se han producido, la perspectiva inmaterial adquiere un peso más relevante y hace reflexionar sobre el alcance. de los instrumentos disponibles.

    The exercise of the administrative functions of intangible cultural heritage in the Italian legal system is manifested at various levels. In addition to the provisions of the code, which places cultural heritage in its tangibility at the centre, there are «extra-code» instruments derived from supranational regulations. This criterion, which stems from the difficulty of legally framing the notion of intangible cultural property, has led for a long time to focus more on tangible cultural property. However, in recent times, also due to the emergency events that have taken place, the intangible perspective has become more relevant and makes one reflect on the scope of the available instruments.
