    La compositionnalité est une notion qui a fait l’objet de nombreuses publications, mais qui a cependant été peu étudiée en phraséologie alors que les unités phraséologiques s’y prêtent tout particulièrement. Nous examinerons l’importance de la (non)-compositionnalité sémantique dans un domaine émergent de la phraséologie, les « actes de langage stéréotypés » (ALS). Il s’agira d’examiner les critères et formes de la (non)-compositionnalité des ALS, en particulier les liens qu’elle peut avoir avec leur fonction pragmatique : en quoi la (non-) compositionnalité d’un ALS est-elle liée à l’emploi d’un ALS en tant qu’acte de langage exprimant par exemple le refus, le scepticisme, ou l’approbation ?

    Compositionality is a notion that has been the subject of many publications, but it has however not often been studied in phraseology, although phraseological units are particularly suitable objects of investigation. In this paper,we will examine the importance of semantic (non)-compositionality in a new area of phraseology, “stereotypical speech acts” (StSpA). The purpose is to examine the criteria and forms of the (non)-compositionality of the French “stereotypical speech acts”, in particular the links that it may have with their pragmatic functions: in what way is the (non-) compositionality of a StSpA related to the use of that StSpA as a speech act expressing for instance rejection, skepticism, or approval?
