Acerca de las funciones del apéndice de (in)conclusión y así en datos del español de Ciudad de México

    En el ámbito hispánico, la investigación sobre los marcadores discursivos ha experimentado un gran auge. Una parte del interés se ha centrado en la descripción de estas formas en variedades específicas del español. En este contexto, el objetivo central de este trabajo es caracterizar las funciones de y así en el español de la Ciudad de México. Para tal fin, se consultaron tres corpus orales de esta variedad y se analizaron las ocurrencias de y así en posición final de enunciado o intervención. De acuerdo con el análisis, y así puede cumplir cinco funciones: (i) apéndice de (in)conclusión, (ii) marca de final de cita, (iii) forma abreviada de y así sucesivamente, (iv) expletivo y (v) marcador de cierre. Todas estas funciones ya han sido descritas en otros apéndices, a excepción de la forma abreviada de y así sucesivamente, por lo que se considera particular del marcador que aquí se analiza. Por último, se destaca la necesidad de llevar a cabo el análisis de esta forma en otras variedades del español.

    In the Hispanic studies, research about discourse markers has experienced a great development. Description of this forms in specific varieties of Spanish has concentrated the researchers’ attention. In this context, the main aim of this paper is characterizing the functions of y así in Mexico City’s Spanish. To do this, three oral corpora have been revised and we analyzed all cases of y así in final position of utterance or intervention. According to results, this marker has five functions: (i) marker of (in)conclusion, (ii) mark of quote’s end, (iii) short form of y así sucesivamente, (iv) expletive, and (v) closing marker. All these functions have been described already in other general extenders, except short form of y así sucesivamente, thus it can be regarded as particular of this appendix. Finally, necessity of carry out studies about y así in other varieties of Spanish has been highlighted.
