    La enfermedad cerebrovascular se considera como un problema de salud de gran importancia ya que afecta entre 110.000 y 120.000 personas en España cada año1. Esto conlleva a que tenga un interés debido al alto coste económico, social y sobre todo la morbilidad y mortalidad que origina en este grupo de población.

    El objetivo de este trabajo será que nuestro paciente obtenga como resultado un buen estado de salud aun presentando la enfermedad e incorporándose a su ambiente social.

    Para tratar esta enfermedad se necesita la implicación de otros profesionales y del propio paciente, por lo que tendrá que estar motivado para conseguir un buen estilo de vida y estado de salud. Para ello, se necesitará realizar unos cuidados especiales y multidisciplinares y así conseguir identificar e intervenir las necesidades de estos pacientes.

    Cerebrovascular Disease is considered a health problem of great importance as it affects between 110,000 and 120,000 people in Spain each year. This leads to an interest due to the high economic, social, and especially morbidity and mortality costs that it generates in this population group.

    The objective of this work will be for our patient to obtain a good state of health even while presenting the disease and incorporating it into their social environment.

    To treat this disease, the involvement of other professionals and the patient himself is needed, so he will have to be motivated to achieve a good lifestyle and state of health. To do this, special and multidisciplinary care will be needed to identify and intervene in the needs of these patients.
