Mediante este relato se pretende poner voz a deportistas lesionados a través de la experiencia de un ex futbolista profesional que sufrió a lo largo de su carrera deportiva múltiples lesiones de gravedad, teniendo que retirarse de forma temprana para preservar su salud física. El objetivo de esta entrevista es poder comprobar de primera mano cuales son los principales factores de riesgo de lesiones sentidos por los deportistas y de los que, en muchas ocasiones, y más en el entorno futbolístico, no se hablan y se silencian. Además, pretendemos entender cómo se viven estas lesiones y su proceso de rehabilitación, hasta el momento de la retirada y sus consecuencias psicosociales. Este trabajo se ha desarrollado a través de una metodología cualitativa basada en el método biográfico.

This narrative aims to give a voice to injured athletes through the firsthand experience of a former professional football player who endured multiple severe injuries throughout their sports career, leading to an early retirement for the preservation of their physical health. The objective of this interview is to examine the primary risk factors for injuries as perceived by athletes, factors that are often unspoken and silenced, particularly within the football context. Furthermore, we seek to understand the lived experience of these injuries, the rehabilitation process, and the psychosocial consequences leading up to retirement. This study has been conducted using a qualitative methodology based on the biographical method.
