    Las interacciones humanas constituyen actualmente un elemento fundamental de nuestras dinámicas en sociedad. Situaciones de aislamiento social como las vividas por la pandemia del Covid-19 dejaron en evidencia esta necesidad humana, con el creciente interés de integrarnos en eventos culturales. Desde estas integraciones, se logra evidenciar la multiplicidad de etnias y costumbres que conforman nuestro entorno. Entre esta variedad de entornos, el ambiente académico constituye un espacio idóneo para aprender de diversas tradiciones culturales, un paso clave para el ejercicio de la inclusión, muy necesario en la actualidad. También se hace necesario desarrollar estos ejercicios de enseñanza y aprendizaje involucrando a nuestros compañeros y familiares, incluyendo a niños y niñas para garantizar las actitudes de respeto hacia nuestros semejantes desde la primera infancia. Dentro de la Institución Universitaria Antonio José Camacho se lleva a cabo el Festival de Integración Cultural, el cual es el presente caso de estudio para analizar este tipo de eventos. Comprender su desarrollo histórico permitirá obtener las herramientas para su mejora, en beneficio continuo de la comunidad. A lo largo del artículo se presentan las estrategias de categorización de los diferentes elementos del festival cultural de UNIAJC. La información recopilada fue categorizada y analizada según la naturaleza de los datos, ya fueran cualitativos o cuantitativos. Con esto se logró comprender las principales dinámicas históricas del festival y cómo ha ido cambiando, hasta lograr proponer estrategias de continua mejora. Dicho ejercicio puede ser extrapolable al análisis de otros festivales de tipo cultural.

    Human interactions are now a fundamental element of our social dynamics. Situations of social isolation, such as those experienced during the Covid 19 pandemic, made this human need evident, with the growing interest in integrating ourselves in cultural events. From these integrations, the multiplicity of ethnicities and customs that make up our environment becomes evident. Among this variety of environments, the academic environment constitutes an ideal space to learn from diverse cultural traditions, a key step for the exercise of inclusion, which is very necessary nowadays. It is also necessary to develop these teaching and learning exercises involving our peers and family members, including boys and girls to ensure respectful attitudes towards our fellow human beings from early childhood. Within the Institución Universitaria Antonio José Camacho, the Cultural Integration Festival is carried out, which is the present case study to analyze this type of events. Understanding its historical development will allow to obtain the tools for its improvement and continuous benefit for the community. Throughout the article, the categorization strategies of the different elements of the UNIAJC cultural festival are presented. The information collected was categorized and analyzed according to the nature of the data, whether qualitative or quantitative. With this, it was possible to understand the main historical dynamics of the festival and how it has been changing, to the point of proposing strategies for continuous improvement. This exercise can be extrapolated to the analysis of other cultural festivals.
