En la "Colección Ramón Calderón", recientemente donada al Museo de Prehistoria y Arqueología de Cantabria, se conserva un terminal de correa de bronce de tipo carolingio. Es un objeto singular, que se puede fechar en los siglos IX-X y del que apenas se conocen paralelos en la península Ibérica, salvo un conjunto que presumiblemente procedía del sur de España y que se conserva en el Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum de Maguncia (Alemania), así como otro ejemplar aislado, hallado en la cueva del Aspio (Ruesga, Cantabria).

There is a Carolingian-style bronze strap-end In the "Ramón Calderón Collection", recently donated to the Museum of Prehistory and Archeology of Cantabria. It is a singular object, that can be dated to the 9th-10th centuries and for which there are hardly any known parallels in the Iberian Peninsula, apart from a set that presumably came from the South of Spain and iskept in the Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum in Mainz ( Germany), as well as another isolated specimen, found in the Aspio cave (Ruesga, Cantabria).
