    El presente ensayo busca examinar el recorrido histórico que se presentó en la Nueva Granada a finales del siglo XVIII bajo la autoridad colonial y los primeros lustros de la acelerada configuración republicana en el siglo XIX, a través de las transformaciones de los conceptos orden y paz, cuyos sentidos fueron fundamentales para expresar esa ruptura y proyectar un nuevo orden. Bajo esta premisa se examinará no solo los hechos propiamente ocurridos, sino también se auscultará los lenguajes políticos y el dinamismo de los conceptos, con el objetivo de comprender los diversos registros que llenaron de contenido y estructuraron el buen orden monárquico y cómo éste coexiste y, eventualmente, es modificado por unas renovadas proyecciones del orden y la paz en la república durante buena parte del siglo XIX.

    The present essay seeks to examine the historical journey that was presented in New Granada at the end of the eighteenth century under colonial authority and the first years of the accelerated republican configuration in the nineteenth century, through the transformations of the concepts of order and peace, whose meanings were fundamental to express that rupture and project a new order. Under this premise, not only the events that actually occurred will be examined, but also the political languages and the dynamism of the concepts will be examined, in order to understand the various records that filled with content and structured the good monarchical order and how it coexists and is eventually modified by renewed projections of order and peace in the republic during much of the nineteenth century.
