Hace ocho siglos, el Papa Honorio III encomendó a los frailes dominicos la misión de predicar el Dulce Nombre de Jesús. Para cumplir con este cometido se encargó a la Orden de Santo Domingo la creación y dirección espiritual de numerosas asociaciones de fieles siendo, sin duda, las más importantes, las hermandades del Rosario y las del Dulce Nombre de Jesús. A través de la espiritualidad dominica, nos aproximaremos a las principales características que presentan estas últimas.

Eight centuries ago, Pope Honorius III entrusted the Dominican friars with the mission of announcing the Sweet Name of Jesus, as the only Savior to the Peoples. To fulfill this mission, he commissioned the Order of Santo Domingo the creation and spiritual vigilance of the brotherhoods of the Rosary and the Sweet Name of Jesus, among other religious entities. Through Dominican Spirituality, we will approach the devotion to the Sweet Name of Jesus and its main characteristics.
