Se presentan citas recientes de 108 especies de moscas costeras (Diptera: Ephydridae) de Portugal continental, de las que 75 parecen ser primeras citas para el área. Se recopila la bibliografía faunística relativa a las moscas costeras de Portugal continental, con sólo 21 trabajos que presentan datos originales de moscas costeras.

Recent records of 108 species of shoreflies (Diptera: Ephydridae) are presented from mainland Portugal, some 75 of which appear to represent the first published records from the area. The faunistic literature concerning the shoreflies of mainland Portugal is compiled, with only 21 papers reporting original data of shoreflies.
