    Entre las líneas de investigación del Jardín Botánico de Matanzas se encuentra la educación ambiental. Con este fin se diseñan diversas actividades educativas en las cuales se involucran especialistas y colaboradores de instituciones de la provincia, para la atención a diferentes grupos meta, desde la enseñanza primaria hasta universitaria.     Among the lines of investigation of the Botanical Garden of Matanzas he is the environmental education. With this end diverse educational activities are designed in which specialists and collaborators of institutions of the county are involved, for the attention to different groups goal, from the primary teaching until university student. The carried out actions were centered in chats and activities in the schools, as well as in the creation of scientific societies and the formation of values environmentalists. The objective of this work is to expose the results of the actions of environmental education with different groups of students and bigger adults that have visited the Botanical Garden of Matanzas.
