La Fototeca del IPCE constituye un referente fundamental para el conocimiento del patrimonio cultural español, tanto por la cantidad de imágenes que conserva, como por su calidad técnica y artística. En este artículo se hace un repaso por las principales colecciones que la componen, mostrando también la transformación que ha sufrido el concepto de patrimonio cultural a lo largo del último siglo.

The IPCE Photo Library is a fundamental reference for knowledge of Spanish cultural heritage, both for the number of images it preserves and for their technical and artistic quality. This article reviews the main collections that make it up, also showing the transformation that the concept of cultural heritage has undergone over the last century.
