Resumen de El género Buthus Leach, 1815 (Scorpiones: Buthidae) en la provincia de Huelva, SO de España

  Se registra por primera vez Buthus baeticus Teruel &Turiel, 2020 en la provincia de Huelva, donde está ampliamente distribuida. La distribución de Buthus delafuentei Teruel & Turiel, 2020 se amplía 35 km hacia el oeste, hasta la frontera con Portugal y 40 km hacia el norte. Se aporta nueva información sobre la variabilidad morfométrica en ambas especies, en particular diferencias interespecíficas en la longitud total, la longitud/anchura de los segmentos metasomales I, IV y V así como la relación longitud/altura del segmento I que diferencian a los machos de ambas especies. Las hembras difieren en la longitud del metasoma y las relaciones longitud del metasoma/longitud del carapacho y la longitud/anchura de la pinza del pedipalpo. Además, se reportan nuevas localidades para B. baeticus en Sevilla y Cádiz, y para Buthus ibericus Lourenço & Vachon, 2004 en Cádiz.

  The scorpion Buthus baeticus Teruel &Turiel, 2020 is recorded for the first time from Huelva Province, Spain, where it is widespread. The distribution of Buthus delafuentei Teruel &Turiel, 2020 is extended 35 km towards the west, up to the border with Portugal, and 40 km towards the north. New data about the morphometric variation of both Iberian species are provided, in particular significant interspecific differences in the total length, the length/width of the metasomal segments I, IV and V as well as the length/height of segment I that differentiate the males of both species. Females differ in the metasomal length and relationships metasomal length/carapace length and pedipalp chela length/width. New localities are also recorded for B. baeticus in Sevilla and Cádiz, and for Buthus ibericus Lourenço & Vachon, 2004 in Cádiz.
