    El artículo centra la atención en el fenómeno conocido como mise en abyme enunciativa en la literatura francesa medieval, esto es en la representación diégética del productor del texto y/o del contexto que ha condicionado esta producción. Analizaremos la frecuente elección de personajes femeninos como doble ficcional del autor; y las diferentes matices que reviste esta exhibición de los mecanismos de la escritura, en función del género literario, la época, o el género del autor.

    This article focuses on the phenomenon known as mise en abyme of the enuntiation in medieval French literature, that is, on the diegetic representation of the text’s producer and/or of the context that has conditioned this production. We will analyse the frequent choice of female characters as the author’s fictional double; and the different nuances of this display of the mechanisms of writing, depending on the literary genre, the period, or the author’s gender.
