“Emprendizaje en la Sierra”: Una Experiencia de Educación Ambiental Interdisciplinar.

    El IES Sierra de Montánchez se encuentra en una localidad privilegiada desde el punto de vista natural. Por tanto, juega un papel fundamental su participación en la Red Extremeña de Ecocentros a fin de llevar a cabo actividades relacionadas con la Educación Ambiental y el Desarrollo Sostenible. Así mismo, el centro educativo también incluye Proyectos de Innovación que guardan estrecha relación con Ecocentro y que permiten fomentar la interdisciplinariedad desarrollando situaciones de aprendizaje que contribuyan al desarrollo de las competencias. Por otra parte, con la nueva legislación educativa LOMLOE aparecen las situaciones de aprendizaje como un elemento que pretende vertebrar la acción educativa a través del empleo de metodologías activas en un proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje centrado en la realidad que envuelve al alumnado y como mejorarla. Sobre todo, en un área rural que cada vez acusa en mayor medida los efectos de la despoblación y la falta de dinamismo económico.

    The IES Sierra de Montánchez is located in a privileged locality from a natural point of view. Therefore, their participation in the Extremadura Network of Ecocentros plays a fundamental role in order to carry out activities related to Environmental Education and Sustainable Development. Likewise, the educational center also includes Innovation Projects that are closely related to Ecocentro and that promote interdisciplinarity by developing learning situations that contribute to the development of skills. On the other hand, with the new educational legislation LOMLOE, learning situations appear as an element that aims to structure educational action through the use of active methodologies in a teaching-learning process focused on the reality that surrounds the students and how to improve it. Above all, in a rural area that is increasingly suffering from the effects of depopulation and the lack of economic dynamism.
