Status of parliamentary procedure in southern colleges and universities

  • The first step for persons interested in furthering any phase of education is to determine the present status of the particular program of interest. The following is a survey of parliamentary procedure instruction in speech departments in the South. Results of the study indicate that parliamentary procedure is taught as a separate course in the majority of the departments surveyed. It is significant that nearly one in three departments choose to integrate parliamentary procedure training with other courses.
