Análisis del tiempo de vuelo en los distintos golpeos en competición de jugadores de bádminton sub-11

    El objetivo de estudio fue analizar el “tiempo de raqueta a raqueta”, según el tipo de golpe durante el rally de jugadores menores de 11 años (sub-11) en competición, acorde a la reglamentación oficial de la Federación Mundial de Bádminton (WBF). Se presenta un estudio de tipo descriptivo de carácter observacional, donde se utilizó una muestra de 967 golpes realizados en 7 partidos individuales, correspondientes a 14 jugadores élite sub-11. El instrumento de video análisis para el análisis observacional fue el software “Kinovea-0.8.25”, mientras que el registro continuo de los golpes se realizó en el software informático “Microsoft Excel, 2016”. Las variables analizadas fueron el “tiempo de raqueta a raqueta” y el porcentaje de uso de cada golpe. Entre los resultados obtenidos se observa: a) una variación temporal del servicio de derecha entre 0,99 s y 1,51 s; b) un mayor uso del clear de derecha en mano alta, con un 85,08% del uso con respecto al resto de posibilidades de golpeo del clear; y c) un predominio en el uso del drive de derecha con 77,11% frente al drive de revés con 22,77%. Los resultados obtenidos muestran la existencia de una problemática en el desarrollo del juego en etapas formativas. Los jugadores tienden a realizar golpes de forma estandarizada, existiendo una falta de creatividad y conciencia táctica a la hora de variar el tiempo y el tipo de ejecución de dichos golpes. Es posible que uno de los motivos que generan este estilo de juego en etapas formativas, sea la falta de adaptación de las dimensiones del juego, y la falta de entornos que favorezcan un aprendizaje de corte comprensivo.

    The aim of the study was to analyse the "racket to racket time", according to the type of stroke during the rally of players under 11 years of age (U-11) in competition, in accordance with the official regulations of the Badminton World Federation (WBF). A descriptive study of observational nature is presented, where a sample of 967 strokes made in 7 individual matches, corresponding to 14 elite players under 11, was used. The video analysis tool for the observational analysis was the software "Kinovea-0.8.25", while the continuous recording of the strokes was carried out in the computer software "Microsoft Excel, 2016". The variables analysed were the "racket to racket time" and the percentage of use of each stroke. The results obtained show: a) a temporal variation of the forehand serve between 0.99 s and 1.51 s; b) a greater use of the forehand high-hand clear, with 85.08% of the use with respect to the rest of the clear hitting possibilities; and c) a predominance in the use of the forehand drive with 77.11% compared to the backhand drive with 22.77%. The results obtained show the existence of a problem in the development of the game in formative stages. Players tend to play standardised strokes, and there is a lack of creativity and tactical awareness when it comes to varying the timing and type of execution of these strokes. It is possible that one of the reasons that generate this style of play in formative stages is the lack of adaptation of the dimensions of the game, and the lack of environments that favour comprehensive learning.
