Resumen de Algunos galicismos léxicos en documentación chilena del primer tercio del siglo XIX

En este artículo se analizan algunos galicismos hallados en documentación chilena impresa y manuscrita del primer tercio del siglo xix, un período clave para entender el influjo que tuvo la Revolución Francesa y las ideas de la Ilustración en la independencia de las incipientes naciones hispanoamericanas. En el estudio se puede ver cómo en los siglos xviii y xix el francés aportó al español de esa época una amplia terminología relacionada con la política y la guerra, la administración y la sociedad en general.

This paper analyses some Gallicisms found in Chilean printed documents and manuscripts (dated from the first third of the 19th century). This period is the key to understand the influence of the French Revolution and the age of Enlightenment ideas had over the new Hispano-American nations independence. Along this essay, the French contributions to the Spanish language in this period (18th and 19th centuries) will be shown. The main topics covered by these new words are related to the politics, war, administration, and society in general.
