El objeto de este estudio es dar a conocer algunas noticias biográficas del pintor Miguel Jacinto Meléndez de Rivera (Madrid, 1679-1734), de su familia y de varios de los artistas con los que se relacionó, así como de su actividad, con la localización en inventarios de nuevas obras suyas y de diversas tasaciones de pinturas por él realizadas.

The subject of this study is to present some biographical news of the painter Miguel Jacinto Meléndez de Rivera (Madrid, 1679-1734), his family and several of the artists with whom he was related, as well as his activity, with the location in inventories of some of his works and various valuations of paintings made by him.
