Resumen de Mark Hopkins and his baccalaureate sermons

Norma K. Stegmaier

  • The baccalaureate sermons of Mark Hopkins exhibited the use of intellectual and timely ideas, both Christian and secular, that were relevant to Hopkins’ teachings and to his audience. These ideas were clearly reasoned and ably supported by moral evidence. Adding persuasiveness to Hopkins’ sound logical proof were pathetic and ethical proofs.
