    El objetivo general de la investigación consistió en analizar los insectos y el uso como materia prima en la industria alimentaria y no alimentaria .

    El tipo de investigación del presente trabajo correspondió a una investigación descriptiva simple, la cual permitió describir y analizar toda la información referente al uso de los insectos y sus productos como materia prima en la industria. Los resultados evidenciaron que los product os de insectos comercialmente valiosos como: Miel, jalea real, propóleos, polen, seda, carmín, entre otros. están disponibles debido a la importancia de estos recursos en la industria .

    se puede concluir que, entre los tipos de insectos utilizados rutinaria mente en la industria alimentaria y no alimentaria, destacan los órdenes Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera, Orthoptera, Hemiptera, Odonata y Diptera.

    El surtido de insectos y sus productos representa la fuente de materias primas para el procesamiento de productos derivados en la industria alimenticia y no alimenticia.

    The general objective of the research was to analyze insects and their use as raw material in the food and non - food industry. The type of investigation of the present work corresponded to a simple descriptive investigation, which allowed describing and analyzing all the information regarding the use of insec ts and their products as raw material in the industry. The results showed that commercially valuable insect products such as: honey, royal jelly, propolis, pollen, silk, carmine, among others. are available due to the importance of these resources in the i ndustry. It can be concluded that, among the types of insects routinely used in the food and non - food industry, the orders Coleoptera, Lepidoptera, Hymenoptera, Orthoptera, Hemiptera, Odonata and Diptera stand out. The assortment of insects and their produ cts represents the source of raw materials for the processing of derived products in the food and non - food industry
